Man defrauded people seeking spiritual help
How I defrauded people seeking spiritual help — fake Hindu monk collects N167,000 from trader seeking business boom .
Operatives of the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team in Ogun State have arrested a fake magician, Raphael Ekechi, for alleged fraud. Ekechi reportedly defrauded a second-hand clothes trader, Emmanuel Ekpe, at Kuto Market, Abeokuta, Ogun State, of N167,000.
It was gathered that the 36-year-old trader had consulted Ekechi for metaphysical power to revive his business. He was said to have paid the money in piecemeal as the suspect offered him different kinds of spiritual services. . . After using the substances Ekechi gave him without any result, it dawned on him that he had been defrauded.
He consequently reported the case at the IRT office in Abeokuta on July 8, 2019, and Ekechi was tracked down at Alagbado area of Lagos State. Speaking to City Round during the week, 50-year-old Ekechi, a native of Ebonyi State, said he went into the fraudulent act after his electronics business at Alaba International Market collapsed. . . He said,
“I am from Izza in Ebonyi State and I have four children. One day, I travelled to Accra, Ghana, to buy goods worth N3m and Customs operatives seized them. I became frustrated and could not find any means to get money to continue my business. . . “I found out that some Nigerians are desperate to get rich quickly and I decided to use my brain to get what I want. I lied to my clients that I had power and that I learnt metaphysical science from India. . . “I charged N7,700 for consultation form and N1m for a person who wants to win a contract. The man (Ekpe) wanted to boost his business. I charged him N167,000 but he first deposited N57,000 and promised to pay the balance in a month’s time. . . “I told him that he must pay fully for the things I gave him to work. He came back to my ‘office’ and complained that what I did for him did not work. I told him to stop complaining so that the gods would not be angry with him. I did not know he would report to the police.” . . Ekpe, 36, in his statement to the police, explained that he saw Ekechi’s phone number in a poster

ALAAFIN WRITES BUHARI, WARNS AGAINST LOOMING ANARCHY IN NIGERIA
The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, on Sunday, sent an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari and warned him of looming anarchy in the country, if the siege on Yorubaland by herdsmen and kidnappers are not taken serious by the president.
Alaafin, who listed the recent spate of insecurity in Yorubaland by herdsmen and their collaborators, lamented that President Buhari was not doing enough in addressing the menace. The monarch said Yorubas had all it takes to resort to self help, unless the security in the zone improves and people are guaranteed safety of their lives and property. Titled, “Yoruba Question in Nigeria Conundrum”,
Alaafin said,
“I have never been timid or shy of my total support for the success of your administration to deliver the country to the Promised Land. “My confidence had always been based on Your Excellency’s ability, fitness and competence in leading the country to the Promised Land, where Law and Order prevail, individual liberty is guaranteed, economic well-being of the citizens is assured.
“That my confidence in Your Excellency remains unshaken to date. In recent time however, I am worried about the security situation in the country, especially in the South West geo-political zone, nay the entire Yoruba-speaking area of the country including Kwara, Kogi and Edo states. “This has to do with the incessant and increasing menace of Fulani herdsmen that have laid siege in almost all the highways of Yoruba land. Whether in Owo, Akure, Ilesa/Ife-Ibadan road or Ibarapa zone and Ijebu area of Ogun state, the story is the same.
“I have held series of consultations with opinion moulders and eminent Yoruba leaders across board about the menace of these cattle herdsmen with such assault like raping of our women and in some occasions, in the presence of their husbands. That is apart from massive destruction of our agricultural lands; which ultimately points to imminent starvation. “On top of it all is the menace of professional kidnappers usually in military uniforms. What is more worrisome about the kidnapping notoriety is what looks like impunity which these kidnappers enjoy their nefarious activities.” He said after due consultations with Yoruba leaders and as the pre-colonial head of the Yoruba nation, Alaafin said people are worried by the audacity of these lawless people in effecting their illegal acts in broad daylight on our usually bushy highways without any arm of security being able to do anything.
“Worse still is the confidence with which they demand ransoms and collect such illegal levies at designated spots without any arm of security being able to lay siege on them as it was the practice in the recent past. “Now, we cannot even talk of parading suspects, when in actual sense, no major arrests have been made in this part of the country. Without arrests, we cannot talk of their facing of the law. “Unfortunately, and painfully indeed, in the face of the apparent helplessness of our security agencies, where do we go from here?

PASTOR BIODUN FATOYINBO’S AGENTS CONTACTED AND OFFERED ME MONEY TO DEFEND THEIR PASTOR
The above named lady Nkechi claims "On the 20th of June, I decided to take a break from Facebook for a few reasons.
I wasn’t in the best state of mind, and I felt I was losing it. I’ve never really been this way all my life but I guess my father’s death is having a more serious effect on me than I’m willing to admit to. I also wanted to focus on a project that I’m working on, and also get acquainted with my new job with minimal distractions.
Thus, I decided to take a break off posting on social media for a few weeks.... as I thought maybe that would help. However, when the news of Busola’s video broke on Friday 28th of June, I was informed by a friend that the news was all over social media. I decided that I was going to take a break from my break to make a post or two and voice my opinion about it after I have done my findings.
The reason being that I have spent the past few years of my social media life speaking up against certain ills in the society, especially those directed at Nigerian women. Same Friday, I had an orientation for my new job. I had to put my phone on flight mode and later switched it off for a huge part of the orientation period because we are not allowed phones on our work stations. After the orientation, I turned my phone on to get the most shocking voicemail of my life. It left a message saying something like
“Hello Nkechi Bianze. Straight to the point: there is a rumour that broke out on social media this morning about the alleged rape of Busola Dakolo by Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo. We are offering you *a large amount of money* to go on your Facebook page and all social media outlets to defend Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo. Make posts in your usual fierce ways and defend him. And if you do, you shall be handsomely rewarded. You are an influencer; a powerful voice on Nigerian social media, and people read you seriously when you write. It is that influential power that we want to reward you for, but that is if you do as we instruct you. We shall furnish you with details of what you should write and how you should write them. Do all you can in whatever way you can to defend him because he is actually innocent. There are no proofs to the allegations.
But if you decline this offer, then remain silent. Because if you take to your Facebook to write anything that would further tarnish his image, we will hunt you down and make life so difficult for you. This is not a threat... it’s a statement of fact. Be mindful. If you are accepting this offer, reply to this voice message and we will call you back. Otherwise, delete the message. We are aware of how stubborn you can be; but now, you have to choose to either make money with your stubbornness or get into trouble with it. Don’t try to play smart here.

Nigeria Beat Tunisia By A Goal To Win Bronze At AFCON Cup Of Nations
Odion Ighalo boosted his chances of winning the Golden Boot at the Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday after he netted Nigeria’s winner to ensure his side third place in the tournament with a 1-0 victory over Tunisia.
The 30-year-old Shanghai Shenhua forward struck the only goal of the match just 130 seconds after the kick-off before a small crowd at the Al Salam Stadium in Cairo.
Ighalo pounced from close range when Jamilu Collins’ cross led to a mix-up between Tunisia goalkeeper Moez Ben Cherifia and defender Yassine Meriah. It was his fifth goal at the tournament and pu5s him two ahead of closest rivals Riyad Mahrez, Adam Ounas, Cedric Bakambu and Sadio Mane, who have three goals each. Algerians Mahrez and Ounas and Senegal’s Mane have a chance to increase their totals when the two countries face off in Friday’s final at the Cairo International Stadium. Ighalo, who was the leading scorer in the 2019 qualifying competition with seven goals, left the field just before half-time with a pulled hamstring.
Tunisia had little to offer in attack and it took 57 minutes before they had a goal attempt on target. Nigeria maintained their perfect record in third place playoffs at the Cup of Nations having won six other matches between the beaten semi-finalists. The first of those successes came in 1978 against Tunisia in a match abandoned just before half-time when the north Africans stormed off to protest a disputed Nigerian equaliser. Nigeria was awarded a 2-0 victory in Ghana and have now won six other playoffs, including three in a row between 2002 and 2006.

Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu gave 26 prisoners amnesty in Ogun State
Twenty-six prison inmates have been granted amnesty on Wednesday by the Ogun State Chief Judge, Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu.
The amnesty came while they were awaiting trials by the prerogative power of the state’s Chief Judge during a three day tour to the five prison formations across the three Senatorial Districts of the state.
Justice Dipeolu said that the second quarter’s prisons jail delivery was aimed to decongest prison formations of inmates after reviewing their cases while inmates with no case files, medical factors amongst others reasons were discharged to go and sin no more.
“The inmates were released with a view to decongest the prisons and the exercise is in accordance with the service of the law under the custody act. I want to appeal to the released inmates to be of good behaviour, so that they do not return to the prison,” Dipeolu said.
El Chapo Famous drug lord sentenced to life imprisonment
Famous drug lord JoaquÃn Archivaldo Guzmán Loera a.k.a El Chapo, was on Wednesday handed a life imprisonment sentence, ending his notorious and brutal criminal career.
Before his arrest, his dramatic escapes from prison added to his fame of the untouchable kingpin running the world’s largest narcotics trafficking group. He escaped a Mexican jail through a tunnel in 2015, but was later arrested and extradited to the US in 2017. El Chapo is a former head of the Sinaloa cartel, which officials say was the biggest supplier of drugs to the US.
The 62-year-old drug lord was found guilty of 10 charges, including drug trafficking and money laundering, by a federal court in New York in February. Asides being handed a life imprisonment sentence on July 17, 2019, he was also given an additional 30 years for unlawful use of firearms. He was also ordered to pay $12.6bn (£10bn) in forfeiture. He however denounced his treatment, calling the trial unfair.
“When extradited, I expected to have a fair trial where justice was blind and my fame would not be a factor, but what happened was actually the opposite,” he said before the sentence was imposed. .
.
“The government of the United States will send me to a prison where my name will never be heard again. I will take this opportunity to say there was no justice here.”
In 2009, Guzmán entered Forbes' list of the world's richest men at number 701, with an estimated worth of $1bn. In over 25 years of running a drug cartel, Guzmán earned the organization more than $14 billion while exhibiting an extraordinary ability to evade law enforcement.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo Writes an Open Letter To President Buhari in 2019
Former President olusegun Obasanjo writes to Current President Buhari.
I am constrained to write to you this open letter. I decided to make it an open letter because the issue is very weighty and must be greatly worrisome to all concerned Nigerians and that means all right-thinking Nigerians and those resident in Nigeria.
Since the issue is of momentous concern to all well-meaning and all right-thinking Nigerians, it must be of great concern to you, and collective thinking and dialoguing is the best way of finding an appropriate and adequate solution to the problem.
The contents of this letter, therefore, should be available to all those who can help in proffering effective solutions for the problem of insecurity in the land. One of the spinoffs and accelerants is the misinformation and disinformation through the use of fake news. A number of articles, in recent days, have been attributed to me by some people who I believe may be seeking added credence and an attentive audience for their opinions and view-points.
As you know very well, I will always boldly own what I say and disown what is put into my mouth. But the issue I am addressing here is very serious; it is the issue of life and death for all of us and for our dear country, Nigeria. This issue can no longer be ignored, treated with nonchalance, swept under the carpet or treated with cuddling glove.
The issue is hitting at the foundation of our existence as Nigerians and fast eroding the root of our Nigerian community. I am very much worried and afraid that we are on the precipice and dangerously reaching a tipping point where it may no longer be possible to hold danger at bay.
Without being immodest, as a Nigerian who still bears the scar of the Nigerian civil war on my body and with a son who bears the scar of fighting Boko Haram on his body, you can understand, I hope, why I am so concerned. When people are desperate and feel that they cannot have confidence in the ability of government to provide security for their lives and properties, they will take recourse to anything and everything that can guarantee their security individually and collectively. For over ten years, for four of which you have been the captain of the ship, Boko Haram has menacingly ravaged the land and in spite of government’s claim of victory over Boko Haram, the potency and the activities of Boko Haram, where they are active, remain undiminished, putting lie to government’s claim.
The recent explanation of the Chief of Army Staff for non-victory due to lack of commitment and lack of motivation on the part of troops bordering on sabotage speaks for itself. Say what you will, Boko Haram is still a daily issue of insecurity for those who are victimised, killed, maimed, kidnapped, raped, sold into slavery and forced into marriage and for children forcibly recruited into carrying bombs on them to detonate among crowds of people to cause maximum destructions and damage. And Boko Haram will not go away on the basis of sticks alone, carrots must overweigh sticks.

Northern Elders’ Forum orders Fulani herdsmen to vacate southern Nigeria
Northern Elders’ Forum orders Fulani herdsmen to vacate southern Nigeria Prof. Ango Abdullahi.
The Northern Elders’ Forum (NEF) has asked all Fulani herdsmen residing in the southern part of the country to vacate immediately if their security was no longer guaranteed. Addressing a joint press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, the chairman of NEF, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, said the Forum would continue to take up issues relating to the security and safety of Northerners in the South.
He said stakeholders and other well-meaning Nigerians must do everything possible to stop the escalation of sensitive matters that would lead to the breakdown of law and order in the country.
“I will like to take a particular note of the last paragraph of your presentation especially with what we have heard in the last few hours that some violence had already started to manifest in some sections of the country against the herdsmen, who for all known reasons have been in peaceful co-existence in the communities where they have lived for many years. “Now, certainly we are worried about their safety, like we are worried about the safety of every Nigerian who decided to live wherever they want to. “But then, if there is no certainty that their safety is guaranteed by the authorities that are immediately around them or by the authorities that have the responsibility for the overall security of all Nigerians wherever they reside, we are certainly worried about their wellbeing and I think particular attention should be paid to what is happening on hour-to-hour, day-to-day basis.
“And if it is indeed, true that there safety is not guaranteed in the places where they are residing, we would rather have them back into areas where there safety is guaranteed, and this is coming back as much as possible to the North. “They who are residents there should keep us informed and those of us who are monitoring from here should also keep ourselves informed about what is happening,” he said

“Tinubu stop spreading anti-Igbo falsehood". ~ Nnamdi Kanu. “Tinubu, you cannot sacrifice the blood of your brethren on the shrine of your greed, conceit and unbridled 2023 presidential political ambition.
“I must remind you today that your Fulani masters will never do for you what you are slavishly doing for them. You know in your heart of hearts that murderous Fulani herdsmen are culpable in the brutal murder of a Yoruba daughter and that Igbos had no hand in the Ore Highway Massacre.
“An influential Yoruba newspaper reported that nearby villagers, who are Yorubas, informed the police that the killer Fulani herdsmen have their base in a nearby forest. “These are eye witness account from Yoruba people living in the surrounding areas where the tragic incident occurred. Or are you saying the villagers can no longer distinguish between a gun-wielding Fulani terrorist and an Igbo man?
“Your unguarded utterances only succeeded in doing more harm to the Fosaranti family, insulting the memory of their daughter and will be seen for what it is, an affront to the dignity of the Yoruba race. Do not behave like a Fulani Lackey!!!
“The fate of Afonja and loss of Illorin, a Yoruba territory to the Fulani conquistadors in years gone by should have taught you and your likes a bitter historical lesson but it seems you are hell-bent on repeating the mistakes of the past.
“Do not be devoid of shame, honour and dignity which are the hallmarks of a true statesman. The Fulani that you serve so foolishly will never shed one drop of Fulani blood for people like you. They will never concede “their” Presidency to a lewd unequal.”

Men's Health : As a man, keeping your penis healthy and sweet is important. Your sexual organs are very valuable and must be cared for.
1. A clean penis is very important so wash your penis with warm water at least twice a day. Clean the scrotum and under the penis shaft gently and scrub your scrotal sack too.
2. Leaving too much hair around the penis is not cool. During sex,the hair can cause cuts on the vaginal organs and condom. Also, hair around the base of the penis can be breeding ground for boils and cause bad odour so shave or keep it short and clean.
3. Don't pamper the penis too much, As soon as you notice an infection, boil, rashes, please get help immediately.
4. Many guys wear one boxer for a whole week or even a month but for health reasons pls change your boxers everyday. Dirty boxer may give your penis a permanent bad smell and a bad taste.
5. Healthy eating is good for reproduction eat fruit and vegetables for healthy Sperms .
6. Avoid using powder around the penis. If you do, especially after shaving, you might have to deal with serious irritations. The penis doesn't need perfume to smell good so don't spray perfume around your penis.
*NB*: For those who are not circumcised, in your case, please pull back the the foreskin and wash underneath with warm water everyday.
Always remember, a clean penis is mightier than Goliath's sword.. Finally guys, please go for a quick check up if you notice any changes within your scrotum, this could be a sign of prostrate cancer.

RIBADU Says Fulanis Are Killing People Because they are very angry with BUHARI.
Fulanis Are Killing People Because they are very angry with BUHARI.al He has abandoned them" .—Nuhu Ribadu Bandits”” were created by Gen Mohammadu Buhari Rtd to oust Jonathan Bandits are not Boko Haram nor Herdsmen.
It all started in April 2014 when Mohammadu Buhari assembled his ardent supporters, promoters and strategists to determine how to remove President Jonathan Goodluck. Prominent amongst them were El-Rufai, Gen Danbazo (Rtd)…….. A decision was reached to consult Miyatti Allah cattle breeders association for assistance to boot Jonathan Goodluck out of office. Consequently, the National Chairman of Miyatti Allah was engaged to bring in foreign mercenaries. Within a month, 2,000 .
Fulani fighters were brought in from Mali, Senegal, Niger Republic, Chad, Libya to name but a few. Further 4,000 fighters were stationed in Niger and Chad on standby. On arrival, they were assembled in Kaduna under the sponsorship of El Rufai and were addressed by various Northern Leaders including the Sultan of Sokoto, Gen Buhari (Rtd) etc. Specifically, Gen Buhari in his address told the fighters that “the British handed Nigeria over to us the Fulanis at independence.
The land (Nigeria) belongs to us. We must reclaim what belongs to us.”He added that at the event that Jonathan Goodluck worn the election, the Fulani machinery must fight until they regain control of the country. He assured them that the Nigerian Army was behind them. The mercenaries received initial training from the Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy and were sent to 6 camps in Ekiti State, Benue State, Katsina State, Kaduna State, Zamfara State and Borno State. In the camps, brand new pick-up trucks, generators etc were provided them.
Nigerian Airforce helicopters were used to provide them essential supplies like food, water, drinks and even arms and ammunitions. Evidently, Jonathan Goodluck lost the election in 2015 through a well orchestrated election organised by INEC under a Fulani Chairman, Professor Jega. Gen Buhari (Rtd) was sworn in as the president.
This saw the emergence of a Fulani president through a dodgy election hence the planned violent war was averted. Contrary to expectation, the mercenaries in the various camps were abandoned, no more food and essential supplies. The relationship between Miyatti Allah, El Rufai (now a State Governor) and Dambazo broke down. El Rufai arrogantly declared that they were not needed anymore and they should go back. Consequently, the killings in Kaduna commenced as a warning to El Rufai but it did not bother him. He declared that he had paid the people carrying out the killings and they did not want to stop.
The Nigerian police did not bother to call Gov El Rufai to give further clarification on this. The Mercenary at the various camps decided to go about to find food for themselves by robbing people, going into farm lands and kidnapping. Miyatti Allah made several efforts to contact El Rufai and Dambazzo to appeal to them to provide money to return these fighters to where they came from. All efforts proved abortive.
