Jussie Smollett’s Character Removed From Final Episodes of “Empire”

Amid ongoing speculation surrounding Jussie Smollett’s alleged staged attack in Chicago and his subsequent arrest, “Empire” producers have parted ways with Smollett’s beloved character, Jamal Lyon- for now, at least.

“The events of the past few weeks have been incredibly emotional for all of us,” Lee Daniels said in a joint statement with series executives. “Jussie has been an important member of our ‘Empire’ family for the past five years and we care about him deeply.”

Update on Nigeria 2019 presidential elections

INEC Official, Mr. Rotimi Oyekanmi, was on Channels TV last night and explained that:

1. The date on the ballot paper could be either 16th or 23rd because INEC couldn’t reprint over 400 million ballot papers in 1 week.

 2. However, the ballot paper you will be given must be stamped 23rd at the back. (NOTE: 23rd at the back).

3. In conclusion and according to him, the date stamped at the back is what to look out for and it must be 23rd. The date in front does not matter. God bless Nigeria.

R. Kelly charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse

An indictment has been handed down against musician R. Kelly by the Cook County State’s Attorney office, two sources with knowledge of the development tells CNN.

That came on the heels of attorney Michael Avenatti announcing he had handed over to the State’s Attorney’s Office a videotape that he said showed Kelly having sex with an underage girl.

Steve Greenberg, an attorney for Kelly, told CNN earlier this month he had not been notified of a grand jury. After being asked about the new tape, he said separately he and his colleagues were unaware of any new information involving Kelly.
