So stay with us as we bring you the highest earners in the Nigerian music industry in 2018; 1. Wizkid In 2018, Wizkid joined the list of highest paid artists in the world following his performance at a royal wedding in India. He was reported to have been paid 50 million rupees (N245.9 Million) for a live performance. Standard performance fee stands at N10-15 million.
2. Davido Only in 2018, Davido announced that his hit songs “If” and “Fall” had gone diamond and platinum in sales respectively, that’s over 2million copies sold online. Davido who was signed to Sony’s RCA Records in 2016, made his announcement when he was at Sony Music Entertainment office in the United States of America in February 2018. 3. Burna Boy This year has definitely been a great year for Burna Boy, not just serving hits back to back but also shutting down concerts. Earlier this year during his ‘Life On The Outside ‘ tour, his headline concert at the Brixton Academy O2 arena in London was sold out. The arena has a capacity of about 4,921. 4. Tiwa Savage 2018 has arguably been Tiwa Savage best year as she won MTV’s Best African Act. She clinched the award after beating Nigerian singer Davido, and other African acts. Standard performance fee stands at N6-10 million.
