President Buhari accepts Onnoghen's retirement as Chief Justice of Nigeria.
He will receive N2.5 Billion In retirement package. Onnoghen, 68, was due for retirement in 2020, but he turned in his resignation letter as CJN on April 4, 2019, to save himself from losing his retirement package, after weighing his chances of winning his legal tussle with the FG, which he finally lost.
