THE DEATH OF MY WIFE, HON. MRS SALOME ACHEJU ABUH NARRATES

My attention has been drawn to various stories both offline and online regarding the sorrowful death of my beloved wife, Hon. Mrs Salome Acheju Abuh, on Monday the 18th of November 2019 which happened at Ochadamu Ofu Local Government area of Kogi State Nigeria.

I am constrained to set the records straight, despite the heaviness and pain I feel at this moment. My wife, a devout Christian, a lover of peace who hates anything violent was a grassroot politician/community leader. She was a women leader for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the early years of her political career.

She had her first elective position as an Honorable councilor in Ofu Local Government Council of Kogi State Nigeria between 2003-2007, she contested for Idah Federal Constituency for house of representative in (2007) and was the only woman among the contestants, she was also a Special Assistant on Grassroot Matters to His Excellency Capt. Idris Wada, (the then Executive Governor). She also contested in the last general elections for the State House of Assembly In 2018, all under the PDP platform. Until this unfortunate incidence, she was an active member of the party, a campaign team member for Engr. Dr. Musa Wada and the PDP Woman leader. On Saturday 16th of November 2019, at the Ochadamu primary school polling unit, one Ocholi Edicha in the company of other boys told me that he was going to deal with my younger brother, Gowon Abuh, who is a strong supporter of the PDP, that He (Ocholi Edicha) and others were in the payroll of GYB 4+4. He (OCHOLI EDICHA) further said that this election is for the APC and there is nothing that anyone can do about it.

I politely told him that there was no need for this that we are all brothers, we all drank the same flowing river, went to the same playing ground in the community and we shall still remain in the same community, politics notwithstanding. After casting my vote, I headed home, leaving my wife behind to watch the electoral process. After some time My brother Gowon ran back home to inform me that “ Ocholi Edicha was beating my wife where she was sitting under a shade observing the process and when He (Gowon Abuh) and other people tried to intervene, He (Ocholi Edicha) attempted to stab him Gowon Abuh and he had to run back home”. As we were still talking one Elder Samuel Salami Agbali brought my wife on his motorcycle to our compound and advised that we rush her to hospital.

He says:  First of all I will like to thank every single person who have helped me raised this young little angel from God... you guys have seen him grow from day one. His mother left us when he was a month old and for nine months I raised him up to the best of my ability.

It was not easy raising him alone but I had lots of help. His baby sitter never charge me a day of his life. She calls him her grandson. Then my parents came when he was 4 months my parents came back and stepped up and love this boy with all their heart ️. He changed all our lives forever. My sister every morning put out clothes for him before she goes to work like it was her son. Reason Why Court fines Busola Dakolo N1m amd dismisses case against Pastor Fatoyinbo

A Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Bwari has dismissed a suit filed by photographer, Busola Dakolo, against the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo. The court also ordered Busola to pay N1m for wasting the court’s time. In a suit, filed by Busola, wife of Musician, Timi Dakolo, in September, she had accused Fatoyinbo of rape, adding that the alleged action of the pastor, as well as his denial in a statement adversely, affected her marital sex life. She, therefore, demanded “a personal letter of apology” from the cleric to show honest remorse for his misdeeds.

Fatoyinbo’s lawyer, Alex Iziyon (SAN), however, argued that the prayer could not be granted, describing it as a frivolous suit. In his ruling, Justice Oathman Musa held that the matter amounts to injustice and an abuse of judicial process adding that the case is empty and purely sentimental.

Justice Musa said that the case was aimed more at cruelty than obtaining justice. The court also awarded costs of N1m against Busola Dakolo and held that the fine should have been 10 times more because the court’s time was wasted.

In her suit, which was filed on her behalf by her lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi and Co of Law corridor, Mrs Dakolo asked the court to declare that Fatoyinbo’s denial of his alleged acts contained jointly and/or severally through a press statement he released on June 28, 2019, had caused her continuous emotional distress and amounted to intentional infliction of emotional distress on her.

Olajengbesi said,
“The claimant avers that she was immediately terrified and in shock while the defendant pinned her down on the couch following which he caressed her body, fondled her breasts, pulled her pants, quickly half-pulled his trousers and ordered her to allow him to have his way with her. “The claimant avers that the defendant in the process used his hand to cover her mouth, thereby muffling her screams. The claimant avers that the defendant made efforts to penetrate her, whilst she struggled to fight him off; however, the defendant overpowered her and penetrated her, and had sexual intercourse with her. “The claimant avers that while she was in shock of the incident which had rendered her befuddled and mortified, the defendant rushed out of the living room area of her family home and briefly returned with a bottle of soda (Krest) which he forced down her throat thereby making her breathing difficult.”

BorderClosure FG suspends fuel, diesel supply to border stations. The federal government has taken a huge step in its fight against smuggling by announcing the suspension of diesel and petrol supply to filling stations within 20 kilometres radius to all Nigerian borders .

Lady Narrates how she was Kidnapped with full details

HOW I WAS KIDNAPPED March of this year I was kidnapped on Lagos Island as I was going for my Wednesday show on Inspiration FM. A young man in his late thirties approached me to ask for directions to Idumota.

As I turned to give him directions, he put a gun to my waist and asked me to cooperate. If I don't, he will shoot me and everyone will disperse. I acted normal with my heart in my intestines. An SUV pulled up and I was asked to enter. All this happened at 8AM.

An unending journey started. I was asked to lay on the floor of the vehicle with my knees bent. When my phone rang, I was given to answer and it was my anchor at Inspiration FM cos I was running late, she could detect the fear in my voice and called my husband. Prior to the kidnap, I and Pappie spend time to speak in tongues when we wake up and when He walks me to the train station, it's a distance from my house.

Posh was with me that day. Pappie told me Lulu bring Posh, let her be with me today so that you can be free and concentrate on your radio show. I handed her over bag and all. So, on the vehicle floor I began speaking in tongues and calling forth angels to work for me. Car stopped. I was asked to come down. Love and behold... Bush, uncompleted building, lots of young boys and women smoking something or sniffing. I kept speaking and I was pushed into a room where I saw loads of raw cash on the floor.

They called my husband asking for 10 Million. I told them that if they turn us upside down that even one million ha dokara doka won't come out. They hit me with the butt of their guns to shut up. I was left alone and I burst forth in tongues reminding ABBA of my children, the teen church I serve, my husband's service in ministry, my parents combine too. I reminded Him of the covenant of life and safety. I tongued till I was parched. One of them came into the room speaking My dialect- Owerri. I held him and begged him in the owerri dialect I could manage and told him I have a baby and was just recovering from surgery. Please he should consider my children.

He asked me which part of Owerri I'm from, I told him Naze. When I said that, he sat down fast and asked which compound, I said Kamalu. He got up paced the room and asked for someone's name and I replied in affirmative who she was. He said that is his aunt who is married to a late Uncle of mine and that he knows my dad. He went out, heard him speak Yoruba to the others and came back in after 30mins. He told me if you don't leave here today, you will be killed and your parts will be harvested. 😮😮😮.

In Ogun state, FUNAAB expelled a student because he wrote an open letter to Police IG on the cases of armed robbery against the students in their hostels; SARS harrasing the students and asked that something should be done .
One month later the school charged him before the disciplinary Committee, the committee submitted its report and yesterday the student received their decision; "Expelled"

The reason: his social media post brought shame and ridicule to the school. They are angry that Sahara Reporters picked and published the open letter.

What is more ridiculous than a school whose students are victims of criminality doing everything to pretend that everyone is fine when they are not Is expulsion really the right step to punish a student that was trying to call the attention of the world to their plight?

According to Mayegun, The school refused to do anything to save the students, one of them called the attention of the IG, then he is expelled for doing that.

Ghanaian traders close Nigerians shop in Ghana

Ghanaian traders close Nigerians shop Members of the Ghana Union of Traders Association on Thursday closed shops owned by Nigerians in Kumasi, the Ashanti Region, Ghana.

According to the traders closed the foreign-owned shops in a continuing operation against foreigners engaging in retail business in the country. The traders cited Ghanaian laws to justify their action, insisting that they have were left with no choice than to move into the markets and lock the shops up themselves because the law enforcement agencies failed to enforce the law.

GUTA said the activities of the foreign retailers flouted section 27 of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) Act 865. That law stipulates that the sale of goods or provision of services in a market, petty trading or hawking or selling of goods in a stall at any place must be reserved for Ghanaians. This is not the first time that the shops of Nigerians in Ghana would be closed over this same law.

The same operation had been carried out in July.
