WIFE SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR STARVING 10 YR-OLD STEPDAUGHTER TO DEATH AND BURNING HER BODY

A 36 years old housewife, Tiffany, has been sentenced to death for killing her stepdaughter by starvation.

Judges in Gwinnett County, Georgia, delivered the death sentence on Tiffany for the murder of 10-year-old Emani after finding her guilty of all counts, including murder, cruelty to children and trying to conceal the death of Emani by burning her body in dust bin.

Tiffany represented herself while the trial lasted and made no opening statement or closing argument or call witnesses, saying she hoped that God would see her through the case. Tiffany's husband, who is the girl's biological father, is already serving life jail for his role in the same crime since 2015 for conniving with his wife to burn the young girl after she was killed of hunger in order to help his wife hide the crime.

Tiffany reportedly kept her stepdaughter confined to a bedroom in their apartment and slowly starved her to death, wasting her away without food until she died four weeks when she had become too weak to move. According to BBC
