Uyo Ukonne graduated from New Jersey City University on May 15th and then went rafting with friends a week later, only to drown in the Delaware River
After many days of searching for his body for m his body was finally found yesterday in the Delaware River around 5.45pm.
Joe Hinkes, chief ranger of the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River, said his body was found 5 miles downstream from where he was last seen Sunday afternoon and his death has been ruled accidental drowning. He drowned after jumping into the river without a life jacket while on a rafting trip near Lumberland, N.Y. with friends.
He recently recived his diploma at the NJCU Class of 2014's on May 15th .
